BBI offers consulting, design and project management services to architects and facility owners. Our expertise includes sound, video and communications systems and architectural acoustics for theaters, auditoria, meeting rooms, classrooms, and exhibit spaces. BBI makes extensive use of computer modeling for acoustical and electroacoustical design (EASE 4.0) and acoustical measurements (SIA SMAART, MLSSA) for project planning and performance verification.

Product Design and Manufacturing
BBI offers product design and contract manufacturing services to companies in the audio, lighting and controls markets. The company has extensive experience in digital signal processing for professional audio equipment and microprocessor-based real time control systems. Services offered include circuit design, printed circuit board layout, DSP algorithm and code development on Analog Devices and Motorola platforms, Xilinx FPGA firmware, and microcontroller code. Products developed include loudspeaker controllers, automated mixers, high-performance audio conversion, and controls for pneumatic tube systems . BBI has also developed Windows based user interfaces for monitoring and control of professional audio equipment and industrial processes.

Audio Measurement
BBI's product design and manufacturing effort is supported by state of the art audio measurement capabilities (Audio Precision System Two Cascade Plus). BBI also provides audio measurements to clients on a fee-for-service basis.
