BBI's technical staff includes four engineers (2 Ph.D.'s) with over 40 years combined research and industrial experience. Their expertise includes audio, video and data communications system design, analog and digital hardware design, software development for microcontrollers, digital signal processors and microcomputers. The BBI team has developed systems ranging in scale from embedded microcontrollers to facility-wide network based control systems. BBI has developed application code and firmware in C, C++, Visual Basic, Motorola, Analog Devices and Intel assembly languages and Xilinx LCA. Networked controls have been developed using TCP/IP and Echelon Lonworks. Supported audiovisual control systems include Panja, Crestron, Alcorn McBride, Triad Synthesis and Peavey Media Matrix, as well as BBI proprietary solutions.
